Ant and Dick hosted the WEDDING EXTRAVAGANZA in Belfast and what an extravaganza it was, amazing fashion shows and live make overs were all part of the entertainment for Northern Ireland brides..
Ant and Dick were thrilled to be invited to host the wedding extravaganza at the Odyssey arena in Belfast and were amazed at the press attention and wonderful hospitality they received.
Known as the biggest wedding show in the province the wedding extravaganza is a classy and fun day out for brides and grooms to be and it's no wonder the arrival of Ant and Dick as hosts turned out to be such big news!!
"It was amazing we felt like Madonna!! we attended a big fashion event in the capital and were introduced to the country's biggest celebs and big wigs, then we were on a non stop press tour with interviews on GMTV, ITV, BBC and other radio stations and newspapers, but the biggest highlight was spotting ourselves on massive billboards all over the place, it became like a game of I spy!!" exclaims Ant
The boys were the headline act for the show and in addition to compering the fashion show they performed live make overs for brides and mother of the brides, they also hosted the Daily mirror competition were hundreds of applicants were dwindled down to select one pair happy to win a free wedding.
"hosting the wedding competition was similar to a Miss world contest, though I found it really hard to decide, all those lovely expecting faces staring at you as they clutch to each other... fingers, eyes and toes crossed willing you to pick them it really is heart wrenching,but there could only be one winner and the couple who did win were absolutely gorgeous" smiles Dick
The boys plan to return to Northern Ireland to host the next show and are looking at other events and television opportunities in the country
