So you've just got engaged, so much to do such little time!!! ..Nah we have made it easy for you, use the calendar below to plan your big day and make sure that everything runs smoothly for you!!

 Month1

Excitement, fear, lots of luuuuuurve

Set the date and book your registrar or church, look at venues and book as soon as possible, discuss the budget with all concerned ...Don't be shy, decide on the number of  guests you are inviting and stick to it!!! ...Begin torturing your nearest and dearest with fitting appointments and samples, samples, samples!!! lol

 Month2

Panic, cocktails and lots of phonecalls

have a few cocktails a busy fashionista bride like you deserves a treat! Send save the date cards, start thinking of fashions and themes, try on dresses, find your caterer and book them if you need one, book your entertainment, videographer and photographer should be booked now!! ...!

Month3

This isn't so difficult what's all the fuss about?

Start looking at honeymoon plans booking early avoids disappointment!! pick the DRESS!! this allows plenty of time for it to be taken in and out a million times!! choose your attendents, best man and ushers ... Oh go on then have another cocktail

Month4

I love weddings!! such fun though when was the last time I saw Corrie?

Choose those hideous taffeta dresses you are gonna make your bridesmaids wear, discuss your menu and drinks packages with your venue or caterer, pick a florist and decide on bouquets, button holes etc...no cocktails!! there's work to be done!! ...come on step away from the bar!!

 Month5

Hmmmm my friends love hearing about my wedding

If you're doing the deed in the church then you and the rev need to decide on hymns, readings etc, if a civil ceremony make sure that what you have chosen is allowed!... order your invitations, place cards and menus, have a manicure and a night in with the girls, bet their all dyiiiing to hear about what you have been upto!!

 Month6

yummy scrummy cake, though better not eat too much

Oh niiiice eat all the million cake samples you have been sent and choose which one you are going to have, book it now!! ... choose and order your wedding favours if your having them, book your transpoprt and don't forget to make sure that Mum, Dad, bridesmaids, etc are all catered for, sweaty bridesmaids after a ten mile hike won't make for a pretty album!! buy something non weddingy, a new top or dress and make sure hubby to be takes you out!!

Month7

This is a doddle, think I may become a wedding planner

hubby to be needs to decide on his suit, or should I rephrase that you need to instruct hubby to be on exactly what he and his men are wearing,  get your ceremony booklets printed and pick the gifts you are giving the wedding party, Buy lots of highlighter pens, page dividers, post it notes and start leaving memos around the house, office or anywhere else you can cram them

Month8

why am I not sleeping, who do I need to call again, what shoes do I want ...Errrr

go see lots of hairdressers for consultations but remember the second it becomes a trial you're paying, if you are going to change your name then you will need a new passport, the minister or registrar will need to sign this for you, cocktail time again!!

Month9

The venga bus is coming ... yeehah try out all the pubs and clubs to see which is best

Plan the hen and stag  nights, hubby to be is only allowed to go to the local pub, with a few well chosen friends, you on the other hand need a long weekend in Paris or New York with his credit card ...What?? ...He wants you to look pretty on the wedding night doesn't he? Don't forget about innoculations for that far away honeymoon , tequila shots, sambucca and male strippers await you my dear

Month10

OW!!! my head hurts and I have a cold, why won't theylet me have any more time of work?

Try different looks with your make up artist, try not to end up looking like a cross between Lilly Savage and jan Battersby from Corrie!! Book your hair stylist for   the wedding morning, if you're having a gift list compile it now, word to the wise though avoid 'wrapit' lol... healthy eating and relaxation dear no more mad partying you need to sleeeeeeep!!

Month11

Oh NO!! uncle george and Uncle Harry are coming better order the bouncers now, I want chips!!

Send out invitations, keep an up to date list of yes and no replies then squeeze in your second tier guests, book fiances hotel for the night before, collect rings, dress up in your complete wedding outfit to see what it looks like this is the last chance  to buy and extras you need!! stop starving yourself!! you will look gorgeous, though do avoid fry ups, chocolate cakes and takeaways...oh go on then am sure a little vodka and DIET coke won't do any harm

Month12

Remind me again why I'm doing this, oh am soooo nervous,

Ahhh a piece of cake!! anyone wanna see my honeymoon pics?

Inform the venue or caterer of final numbers, decide on your seating plan and keep guests who hate each other well apart, meet with your dj and give him the list of songs you want played, have your final cut and colour 2 weeks before big day, fake tans or sunbeds sessions are now also, go on your hen and stag do's .....

Have a wonderful life together, lots of love Ant and Dick
